I’m in California and I can tell you no one voted for this idiot. The elections have always been rigged here. So in California even with 1.8 million signatures,all signatures will have to go thru signature verification or a signature match,in which usually 25-30% get disqualified for lack of verification. Or whatever will bring the numbers down below the recall amount needed.The hypocrisy is insane.
You Cali's should be simultaneously running a petition for election reform. Including not letting illegals vote. I don't know if I needed to say that last part but what I know of Californians they're not the brightest of people.
The most hilarious part of all this is that they do a legitimate and arduous check of all the signatures on a recall petition, while the actual vote is a complete joke in terms of checks. 10 years ago an OC politician was prosecuted for sending out a mailer that said that non citizen voting was a crime.

Voter fraud should be a crime punishable by death by public execution. No exceptions. Maybe then the fear of losing their head would put an end to it after this current bunch is used to set an example.
Good thing Biden will arrange a way to save him from removal. Now that the entire govt will soon be in their control, there are no checks against creating the “legal” means to do what they need to do. If they need to save one of their governors, they will. Rules will be made up from day to day as needed.
