I saw the stickied post about deleting Google. I get it, delete everything, move off grid. I'd love to think that's realistic for me and my life but it just isn't. So, I was thinking, for those of us that can't just get rid of Google, Apple, and other products we need an alternative solution.
Operation Flood the Cave (yes, I picked that name on purpose): Since most of us can't just delete everything, what if we do the opposite. Can people more tech savvy than me start making programs we can use to absolutely flood the fuck out of Apple and Google with DATA so it renders their meta data and pattern prediction useless? I want a program that will just search for random things, visit random sites, maybe make them think I'm on a road trip... if they want to collect data, let's give them more than they can handle.

Problem is, I feel like using one thing isn't all that helpful. For instance, some people use social media for business and it's become a huge part of it. Instagram just updated their terms of service in December so that they have access to literally everything on your phone. Texts, other apps and accounts like bank transactions, the camera can be turned on...you're basically just unlocking your phone and giving it to them. Which, yeah, don't use instagram, but for the people that do a lot of marketing and business through it, it's tough to just stop cold. So, see as we aren't going to have any laws passed any time soon, and half the nation actually loves this kind of tech dictatorship, is there a way to send them so much that it confuses them?

no, I thought you mean doing searches and flooding them with date. Yeah, it's easy tl get off of big tech. Might be easy for some, I rely on google, apple, and Instagram. I deleted my Facebook. Never used Twitter. I have a hard time leaving instagram for business purposes, Apple, and google. Hence the point of my post.

how much they neeeeeed big tech. I run a business. redirected all my social followers to my newsletter, and started using only my own webmail instead of gmail. if a business owner can do it, anyone can.
