The biggest resistance I encounter when trying to get people away from big tech is Facebook. If we all agree to dump them, it will break the back of Facebook. Normies will no longer rely on it to contact family and friends efficiently and will be forced to use more than one platform. If a viable alternate arises in that time, Facebook becomes the next MySpace
