With the American Executive effectively crippled (because Harris is an even more laughable option than pervert-criminal Biden), China/Russia/Iran/Etc. are free to act -- any response will be delayed and aggressor nations will have time to dig in and change the ground before America can respond.
tl;dr: The United States is now operating with decapitated leadership, and someone is going to make a move. The US will be in the position of acting late, or (most likely) yielding military leadership to France
