I guarantee you its the reason why they floated "the social dilemma" or whatever the fuck its called right before the election. My wife dragged me through watching it and one of the backstories was someone who got caught up in conservative conspiracy tweets/etc and ended up getting arrested for showing up at a protest with others. Painfully obvious setup
