well... nice theory. No proof at all. Let's not forget that the United States of America are probably the most successful society / economy since the Roman Empire 2000 years ago. With most of us living far above the standard of anyone else around the Globe. Better to build on what we have than ruin it. Economically, problem is distribution. Too few rich people concentrating all our money on themselves.
