I used to be a libertarian, and still believe liberty is the best solution, but the past 4 years and particularly 2020 woke me up to the fact that you can't have a libertarian society. They're inherently unstable. Pure liberty contains the seeds of it's own destruction, because it requires that you allow bad actors to operate freely and collude to take over/destroy said society. It can only work if everyone holds liberty as a virtue, and in reality only a minority do.
