I've been banned from more sites than most people have ever joined. I have a feel of the Net. The most curious thing, the most relevant... but undiscussed, is how conservative it's become, whilst becoming global.
Post Gamergate of 2014, I have noticed a massive shift toward conservative thinking. Fucking try to argue against minimum wage in 2004 on the Net. You think it's bad now? Today it's pillows hitting you. An adaptation has occurred.
Here's what I mean- old people of today were yesterday's hippy. The blue-haired conservative does not apply today. It's Gen Z. And they mock it all. "It's ma'am!"

As much as youtube tries to censor, their reach is quite limited.
Meanwhile if you looked at twitter particularly under any of trump's tweets, you'd see checkmarks responding with the same tired jokes and other garbage they've been repeating for over the past 4 years now, as if it's their job to do this shit.
Any even slightly "offensive" joke ends up with you getting raided by a hivemind with basically bot-like behaviour, repeating their propaganda garbage and kpop fancam garbage.
