My dad is in the same situation. My mom tolerates him, my brother thinks he's nuts.
I try to go over and shoot the shit with him as much as possible. He's a Vietnam Veteran who struggles a lot, I can't imagine where he would be if he didn't have at least one ally or sounding board.

The left weponizes their people against us, and these people don't even know they're being used. It's heartbreaking.
Except for the Vietnam vet part that is exactly my situation. My wife and my mom tolerate when we get to talking but just barely.
