I would strongly suggest looking into protecting your assets. She’s your wife, and you should try to remember why you love her, but, to be blunt, you live in California. You are already pre-boned, by the state. I’m not saying get the papers ready, just, have a plan.

Also, many nurses have serious complexes. I dated one, and met a lot of her nursing friends. They were Napoleonics waiting to explode. She married you, so that’s a good sign, but that cultural spotlight that nurses currently enjoy, is hard to refuse.
