My uncle is about an hour outside of San Antonio on a farm. I am considering building on his land after some negotiation with him. Any places specifically you would suggest to look at? We want rural and just far enough away for the cities while also being close to the border for when we need to potentially bug out.
West Texas certainly isn't humid. I live in northeast Texas because of family myself, but I kind of like the wide open flat land out on the western side of the state, to be honest.
