The shitty thing is they’re acting like everyone there did a crime. The vast majority of people were peaceful and didn’t break in.

59
Nomad1 [S] 59 points ago +59 / -0

It is gaslighting. Mass propaganda.

31
Cyer6 31 points ago +31 / -0

And we don't care anymore.

39
rabdargab 39 points ago +39 / -0

Breaking in wasnt something we should be ashamed of either

36
Olds77 36 points ago +36 / -0

The vast majority didn't break in, but were let and shepherded in, likely so the plan of discrediting Trump and his supporters with infiltrators could work. A trump supporter got shot and it was only his supporters that died. The media recklessly tried blaming Trump supporters for an officer's death when the propaganda didn't work, but that story fell apart.

14
publius1788 14 points ago +14 / -0

I agree I think a lot of Trump supporters were shepherded in unknowingly. But even if they did break into the Capitol on purpose I would support them 100%

Federal and state buildings have been routinely occupied and the left has done far more of it, but now everyone sees how quickly the left and much of the right will come down on the right when they do it when the left gets wrist slapped at best.

8
maga_mama_757 8 points ago +8 / -0

Yep. I think at least half the people in there thought they were allowed to be.

7
Olds77 7 points ago +7 / -0

At the very least. Federal buildings have been peacefully occupied numerous times.

4
20KAG20 4 points ago +4 / -0

More than half. They were literally let in. Everyone stopped when they ran into cops. Up until there was too many people coming in and they were pushed passed

12
ModernDayMao 12 points ago +12 / -0

If it was possible for leftist thugs to wield as much raw human power as we did that day there would be thousands dead and the building burned.

7
rabdargab 7 points ago +7 / -0

Bingo.

I didn't even know anyone had gone inside until around the time I was getting ready to leave at 4:30 or so. And I was near the front of the lawn the whole time with a pretty good view. There was a sea of people behind me. No one had Internet that I'm aware. Hardly anyone could have known that people had gone in. It was a very small group of people who did this. A few dozen. A hundred. Something like that.

There were more people committing violence and destruction in one neighborhood on one night of the BLM riots than occurred here, but we don't get to pull the mostly peaceful card.

2
FightForTrump 2 points ago +2 / -0

There were over a thousand that went in atleast because there were hundreds just in the front hallway filtering in and out the whole time

1
neurojerk 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yeah it looks that way. I was definitely low balling it, but it also looks like most of them were just going in and wandering or standing around

35
Lusec 35 points ago +35 / -0

I couldn't agree more. I keep hearing a bunch of conservative talkers saying that they denounce the violence and vandalism. It's because these TALKERS are just that. They still have their jobs and houses and food! They still think there is a peaceful answer.

I was there. I will never regret it!

23
Nomad1 [S] 23 points ago +23 / -0

They are politicians just like the rest. Once the chips fall they will rush to support whoever wins and say they were always there.

Trump denounced the violence and vandalism. Is he just a talker? It does not represent MAGA. Everyone who rioted is no better than Antifa. If you broke a window or ransacked an office, you rioted, and shame on you.

9
Lusec 9 points ago +10 / -1

Where were you? There was no riot. We hung out with police and took selfies with them. The 5 minutes of footage that they show on legacy media is all they got. We tore people away from windows.

I'm talking about the conservative talkers that denounce the violence as if they were in unity with the communists.

I would never fight police or vandalize. Our way is guerilla warfare. That's how real change is made. circa 1776

5
runeu 5 points ago +6 / -1

West lawn, so I didn't see any violence. Everything I saw was entirely peaceful.

Oh I see what you mean. Like Cruz who says Trump's rhetoric is to blame? Which part of "peacefully and patriotically" did Cruz not understand? And if he's talking about Trumps "this is what happens when you steal an election" tweet, that was sent AFTER and didn't cause the violence.

Unfortunately we are in a different age now where leftists control the flow of information. That is why Biden supporters burning a police station is "mostly peaceful" but Trump supporters breaking doors/windows is "terrorist insurrection." We have to be clam and smart in order to win the information war.

They definitely started it. All those fucking flash bangs were unnecessary and over-the-top and that is what started stirring the anger. I could not believe how little provocation it took for them to start lobbing CS and pepper gas on us (especially after everything we watched all Summer throughout the country.)

I remarked to another patriot, "the last time I got gassed by my government I was in boot camp". I could not believe how aggressive they were. Then I commented that pretty soon the cops would do the math and retreat inside the building and they did just a few minutes later.

4
johnkongsang 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yeah there was literally no reason for them to be throwing the flash grenades or the gas, it was obvious they were trying to provoke the crowd to escalate things.

5
GregTheTraceur 5 points ago +5 / -0

Honestly, it made me a little bit (but only a little bit) more sympathetic toward the blm rioters. I heard the accusation multiple times that the police were inciting the violence, and I always thought it was ridiculous. I forgot that the feds are absolute scum. (I say only a little bit more sympathetic because we, as a crowd, did not give in to the incitement.)

3
ACActual 3 points ago +3 / -0

One other thing. Anyone else notice the Biblical Wind that blew up everytime they hit us with gas, it made the thousands of Flags fly even higher. It was Biblical

4
ACActual 4 points ago +4 / -0

The courtyard to the right? I couldn't believe how many flashbangs they hit us with. Found out the hard way some were like a Flashbang Pepper ball. Orange shit blown all over me, didn't realize till I touched my face. Never had shit like that in my eyes before.

Despite all the punishment Everyone was just standing there taking it! Men & women young and old, even stood with a Soldier in Dress Uniform, his chest covered in ribbons, Vets from every service.

Been a roller coaster ride since. Disowned by my family after. Trashed me all over fucking Facebook.

I'd do it again tomorrow if I could. We did nothing wrong.

My wife and I went. It was an encouraging, positive experience. We left right before the "storming" of the Capitol because my wife didn't feel well, and we thought that with each objection allowing for two hours of debate, that the certification process would go on into the next day. Some may criticize us for "bailing early," but we felt that having been there as part of the big crowd, we contributed to the massive presence which was supposed to send a message.

I was hoping that Trump would invoke the Insurrection Act, declare martial law, or my ultimate fantasy come true (see my post history) do an autogolpe (self-coup), take out Congress, and rule by decree. Yeah, I love the ideals of the Founding Fathers and the Republic, but that ship sailed awhile ago IMO.

My wife, on the other hand, is more of a "normie," and while she loves GEOTUS, her hopes were for Congress to at least debate and "normalize" questioning the narrative and exposing fraud, whether or not Trump would be President again on January 20.

The leftist reaction--while predictable--is still sad, to be honest. We sang "I'm Proud to Be an American" and other songs. We smiled, laughed, cheered, and stood together. It was such an uplifting and positive event. Leftists really miss out on this. It's their fault, and I don't make excuses for them, but their brainwashing and conditioning is so negative...the raging, the screeching, the anger, the violent outbursts--meanwhile, we express our feelings with so much camaraderie and such a POSITIVE spirit.

The difference is just worlds apart. And I truly feel bad for the leftists who only have anger, although I don't excuse their behavior. I pity them, I pray for them, but they must be held accountable unless they repent. Yes, I am deliberately using religious language, because we're at the point of "right vs. wrong" here, no longer in the domain of "valid opinions freely expressed."

They dont know what is happening.to them. Like in Nazi Germany people wonder how it happened. This is how. Some (many, most?) people are just more susceptible to this type of influence. People with psychological training may know why. It is very bizarre to me.

Yes, not to mention that some really nice and concerned people were down there. These folks are pillars in many communities and folks can see how the media is vilifying them and seeing first hand the media is willing to lie to destroy people. For a riot the Capitol saw next to no damage and the only people that died were Trump supporters. Meanwhile the media and politicians cheered on burnings and damage to endless Federal buildings this summer.

2
Thereyago 2 points ago +2 / -0

oh the senator's aides and wahsington people only think about the police officer that supposedly died of his injuries though in the first report he had other health conditions.

I was waiting for him to be listed as a covid death

1
Olds77 1 point ago +1 / -0

Well it made for good initial outrage to shame folks with, but that's all the media does. I'm loving big media pushing so many people from out of their firm grip.

3
GolfwithTrump 3 points ago +3 / -0

I saw you. I watched trumps entire speech. I arrived after the commotion. I had no idea Capital was breached. I grabbed a sandwich at the food trucks observing some police activity. and walked up the north stairs around to west patio. I saw people inside and a broken window. Cops were acting like we were VIPs. No shit it was crazy!! To the people inside also. I heard about the shooting but did not believe it because of the demeanor of the police. BTW I was in dc since the 5th and no security check anywhere. Over a million people with zero checked back packs.

8
Danmax67 8 points ago +8 / -0

I now regret not having gone to DC. I should have set aside my busy schedule and been there to support our Constitution and our President. I was selfish and wrong.

8
deplorablebot 8 points ago +8 / -0

Let us not forget that Bill Ayers never saw a single day inside a jail cell for bombing the pentagon, capitol building, and several police stations and monuments. A bunch of patriots rush the capitol to scream and chant, some break in and take selfies with police, sit at desks, put up stickers and you'd have thought the world is coming to a fucking end. Almost all of the violence was simply pushing against police lines. There was almost no actual fighting with police. They removed barriers in locations to allow patriots access and in some cases escorted them inside.

Thanks for your post, it has been an emotional roller coaster ride. When we got back to our hotel, all the media coverage and friends and family trying to reach us. Being afraid I might lose my job.

Today, I’m so proud to have gone. It was a hardship financially and difficult to ask off work but my God was it fun! And all the amazing people we met and the awesome conversations. I will cherish every minute of it the rest of my life.

Thank you! I keep having to tell people who "heard" that it was Antifa breaking in that it sure as hell was not. And if it was, it's the first good thing Antifa has ever done. I personally witnessed people trying to break open doors that we're not Antifa. They were people in their late 50s at least. They were trying to rip open doors with a flagpole. I'm proud to have been a part of one of the most Patriotic things this country has seen in this century. Hopefully it's the start of a real shift to having conservatives who are willing to fight for what they believe in.

2
TwoStar 2 points ago +2 / -0

Antifa were probably there, they were a very small part of what happened and it really just does not matter that they showed up. This was almost exclusively American patriots standing up for our rights and for our country.

1
Thereyago 1 point ago +1 / -0

if antifa has a problem with fraudulent elections I don't mind them being there. They certified illegal votes to over turn an elected president. I don't know what they expected.

5
NathanHale 5 points ago +5 / -0

250K Plus saying the Lords Prayer in unison. The Pledge of Allegiance in unison and singing the National Anthem in unison was beyond description. Through a series of circumstance we were not at the Capital.

We learned of Ashley's Heroism on TV and wept.

GregTheTraceur 5 points ago +5 / -0

I don't regret one single thing that I did in DC. It was a wonderful experience, and I would 100% do it again if given the chance to go back. It was mind-blowing to see the news stories come out on the drive home and see the media spin in real time. Mr Reagan is the only prominent figure I follow who had a good take on it. Absolutely filled with righteous indignation. Bless him.

The media is working extra hard to make sure that we all feel crazy and alone for our beliefs. They're wrong. They're very wrong.

2
Thereyago 2 points ago +2 / -0

scott adams nailed it on the day and the next day. I don't even like him much but his take on having nothing to be ashamed of was dead on.

I hope so. Everyone I stood with at the Capitol said the same thing whether it be man or woman, this was a message to the Swamp, dont make us come back. We wont be nice next time.

I'm 100% certain of this, Everyone there said they'd be willing to give their life to stop a stolen election and every one of them is home seething with anger and being pushed into a corner.

I fear for the future of our country.

3
