Why don't we all just go back to Myspace, it was simple to use and had very little toxicity.It would also be a big Fuck You to Facebook and Twitter who drove it into the ground in the first place.

Humble beginnings for me does not include commercial internet, smart phones, computers, etc. It involved a rotary phone in the kitchen and possibly a second one in the master bedroom. No answering machines.

"Social Media" involved actually talking to people face to face. When it came to the phones, there were banker's hours. Unless there was an emergency, you didn't call before a certain time, during meal hours, and sometime after supper.

Wanted to read something? Books, newspapers, magazines, etc. One good thing about this is that you didn't have advertisement shoved in your face. They were strategically located in a way that they actually had to up their game to get your attention.

I remember being in even more humble beginnings than that, but that would be another post.
