I tell you what, when I found out this happened to a 17 year old, I was worried what would happen to him mentally, just being young and the threat of your whole life being done. But this kid carries his balls in a wheelbarrow. If someone had to carry the torch I'm glad it him. Probably says something about his parents.

Well he fought like a man that night to save his life. He has been ushered in to manhood. At this point he is a man although be it a young man. For his family to treat him any less because some part of society dictates it does not change who this young man is. A patriot an example to us all what it means to want to help anyone on the left or right keep people safe render aide if needed.

..."It turns out that it's legal in Wisconsin for an 18-year-old to drink beer at a tavern in the company of a parent or guardian – and police said that contrary to online speculation, the incident didn't violate the teen's $2 million bond agreement."...

It's stupid that when a person turns 18 they can enlist in the military and die for their country, but they can't drink a beer in most states.

You can thank MADD for that. In the early 1980s they lobbied congress to withhold federal highway funds from states unless they raised the drinking age to 21. I believe that Wyoming was the last state to hold out before caving in.

The woman who founded MADD started it because she wanted to raise awareness of the dangers of drunk driving. But she has since left the organization and denounced it because she feels that they've become a neo-prohibitionist movement.
