Can someone please explain make something a sticky on here to me? I’m assuming it’s something about making it easy to find. And yes I will allow dirty jokes as long as I can get an answer.

It is done at the discretion of the moderators.
The flow of posts here is very fast, and we have no real search capability. So, the mods will cause a few posts to be stuck to the top of "Hot" so more people can see them.
Your selections are "Hot" "New" "Rising" and "Top" Each gives a different arrangement of the posts.
Stickies are posts the moderators pin to the front page.
The red posts on the Hot tab have been "stickied".
