I used FF since it was a valid break from Chrome. Brave is a popular alternative but runs off of chrome malware as well.

Opera was bought by some CCP shit and it can’t be used either.

I’ve officially pulled away from all GMAIL and Google products but Idk where to turn for a good browser.

Thoughts?

Sorry why Brave?

It is built on Chromium, meaning it gets all it's updates from CCP Google.

Well I hate to say but it isn’t a good answer. Brave is built off chromium. So idk wtf we use.

Sorry but unless I’m wrong, everyone posting Brave is wrong. It’s 100% built on chromium and dependent on Google.

Not a good option.

You can look into Pale Moon and Ice weasel. They are both not quite firefox.

Degoogled Chromium,

IceCat browser (Using only the open source code from firefox, remove firefox services and trackers, it was made due to concerns about mozilla onwership) Cool thing about this is that all your firefox plugins work with this..

Brave (Same as above but based on Chrome),

Tor Browser,

Look up FOSS (Free Open Source Software), this software code is out to the public which means its open to scrutiny for privacy concerns.

Recommend using Linux (Any non ubuntu system, Cannonical has hardware trackers on all Ubuntu derivatives) If you want easy Linux use Linux Mint, but I recommend using Manjaro Linux if you want lightweight and fast.

For Peer to peer decentralized chat use Matrix, There are a ton of private TheDonald chats out there.
