Find out who accused you

You won't get due process at college

Talk to a lawyer

No, you need to get a lawyer. This sounds like the same scenario as the "sexual harassment" accusations that got many young men expelled during the last decade (search examples and you'll understand). I would delete your account and deny everything. Do not speak with anyone until you have spoken with your lawyer. Do not speak with anyone without your lawyer present. Finally, I would consider transferring schools (not even kidding, people talk shit at universities & professors will find reasons to fail you). I wish you the best, I'm sorry this happened to you.

Don’t deny anything if asked.

Just done speak to them. Get a lawyer

If anything you let the lawyer speak to them.

If he has contacted the FBI, I would say "something" will happen. The medias/elites are looking to make examples out of people. I would start trying to remove any traces I went to the capitol. Picture/videos moved to a jump drive (encrypt them if you can, hide it somewhere safe, or delete them).

Again, please search the examples of young male college students being expelled (without evidence) after accusations of sexual harassment, you'll understand what can happen.

If you worked hard, I suggest you start covering your ass. I don't think you did anything wrong, but all the people in charge do. Again, they are looking for people to make examples out of. Cover your tracks, and if you get an email/phone call/notification of any kind DO NOT SPEAK WITH THEM WITHOUT A LAWYER.

13
Anachronox 13 points ago +13 / -0

No. DO NOT DELETE content. It will make you look guilty as hell and are you really kidding yourself that whoever reported you didn't screenshot the fuck out of everything that was there? Just lawyer up if needed. But honestly, if you didn't do anything then you don't have much to worry about. Maybe some short term consequences like a fine or something. If they do start coming after you, I would actually make it very public that they are doing so. Your college being situated where it is, they stand to lose a lot of enrollments aka business for prosecuting you for standing around at a rally.

I think you'll be ok. But look sharp until you hear from the school. Better yet, call the person the email is addressed to. Rehearse if needed. Tell that person about your mothafucking Constitutional rights and about how you did nothing wrong. Be polite. Let them know about the email. Then politely let them know, should they have additional questions, that they can speak to your lawyer.

Never raise your voice. Practice it, really. Write down the most important points. You did nothing wrong and you're not going to roll over for any of this shit.

You sound like your a high school senior who was accepted for a freshman year at the college.

The left just had a student expelled from a prospective college for a tiktok video where the GIRL said the n-word while singing the lyrics of a rap song. The video was from 4 years ago.

You have been labeled a "terrorist"....

So, I know this is tough, but please speak with your parents. A LAWYER is going to be a couple hundred bucks to retain, that's a drop in the bucket compared to the cost of college. Don't let your future slip away over a couple hundred dollars.

Snapplebrisk 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yeah, but that's the thing. One case, that's cherry picking Dude. There are senators calling the attendees "terrorists". He needs a lawyer, he doesn't need to be "wronged" in hopes he can sue for damages. He needs to nip this in the bud. He has his whole life ahead of him, if this goes sour, he could be a pariah.

Depends, I was reading about the senate building that was occupied by the women after the kids in cages thing and I think hundreds were arrested but they were all released. I think they only prosecute the people who first break in because after the doors are open it is harder to say they broke in and trespass

2
Tookens 2 points ago +2 / -0

Sounds like they would be just begging for a lawsuit if they penalized you for participating in a constitutionally-protected activity.

1

1
MerlynTrump 1 point ago +1 / -0

So long as you didn't do anything illegal you should be fine. It's also worth noting that some of the people arrested on the capitol grounds did not know that they were in a prohibited area and could not hear the police telling them to disperse.

2
JimmyJam 2 points ago +2 / -0

You have to plan as if they have the email and will contact you about it. You should talk to your parents and ask them for advice. You should absolutely talk to a lawyer and tell him all activity you engaged in so he can be prepared.

Seconding this. Trade school is better.

7
HockeyMom4Trump 7 points ago +7 / -0

Did you simply protest or did you destroy or steal anything? Protesting is not grounds for expulsion and the school could face legal ramifications for expelling you if they do not apply the same standards to other students protesting. I would relax and not worry too much. There are cases where students were expelled and the schools were the ones that later had to pay. So unless you did something illegal, I would not sweat it.

Get a consult with an attorney if you feel they are trying to press any charges. A consult is probably what, $250. It will help ease your mind. I went through a divorce (not ugly) and my oldest sons mom is a psycho and went for full custody years ago. That was ugly as fuck. Both times 1 hour with an attorney have me answers and at least what to expect. I'd say nothing if asked. They may pressure but nicely say I would like to consult an attorney to understand my rights. You have the right not to self incriminate.

Its literal stalking, if the FBI come for you file a counter claim. Definitely get a lawyer on retainer, and wait. It could be a bluff too. And even if the asshole did take action, its not a guarantee they will go after you. Take a preventative action and contact a lawyer, then be patient and wait.

delete everything about you aknowledging you're caught since they will use that against you as further evidence he can screenshot you saying he got you.

after that, fill your comments with posts about a different identity. say you had to drive all the way from a state you don't live in, say you're a 38 year old father of two kids and had to take off work to go. Your goal should be to make this account look like a different person so he will have his screenshots which you can deny and say you don't know what the fuck he's talking about someone must have just used a similar username (if they know for sure that name used to be you, otherwise deny). so when you're called in to meet with the school you can pull up this account live and point and say look this guy is clearly someone else he lives over there has kids blah blah blah . the confusing evidence will have the school no choice but to doubt if it's you. So clean up your post history IMMEDIATELY he might be screenshotting. Start pretending this account is run by someone else. Then obviously don't be signed in and wipe your cookies when you go to show it to the school don't want any password autofill or bookmarks to the site or anything

it obviously won't fool the fbi but it will fool the school and the fbi is dealing with a few hundred thousand calls odds that they care are astronomically lower

Take out a restraining order on him, claim he's a stalker, and when you go before the college board, you say, it's an ongoing legal matter that I'm not allowed to discuss per my atty, but that that guy is a known stalker and he's harrassing you, and you're suing him for it, and the college doesn't want to become an instrument of his harrassment.

You don't need a lawyer. Only costs about 50 bucks to take out a restraining order on somebody. You don't even need a reason. You can take out a restraining order on the Pope if you want to, and the moment the Pope transgresses that restraining order, automatic jail, no questions asked.

Get a MAGA lawyer. send an email to Robert Barnes (easy to reach - especially on locals, you'll be able to reach him if you work to it). Ask him to recommend you a lawyer in your state, they might help you for free if you're lucky, or discounted rate.

Also, reach out to Trump's SONS on Parler, tell them to tell your that to give a pardon to everyone who attended the rally, last thing he should do.

Get ready for a fight, but remember we will be there for you, I'm ready to send you money for your legal defence if things go down, just be loud enough on TDW or DM me once things go down.

3
deleted 3 points ago +3 / -0
3
Meseems 3 points ago +3 / -0

No worries, try to clean up your social media accounts and all, so that nobody can stalk you like that - we'll have to be very clever in the coming months, we will all be identified and persecuted soon - any Trump supporter, even those who did not attend the rally...

I'm also at risk at work, I am a vocal Trump supporter, and soon we will be branded as having supported the rise of Orange Hitler.

Some things I'm positive about, is that we are strengthening our community, thanks to TDW and all.

I think we will just need to be more clever, and organize better. That's a big opportunity right here to have closed communities with encryption and all, where we do know each others internally, and continue the populist uprising. Maybe an idea I could implement (I work in IT), would have to think about a way to pull this off and gauge how popular it would be.

1
Meseems 1 point ago +1 / -0

You are being totally naive here. This person has spent months stalking you and has probably already been snitching on you to your university in real time. He will NEVER forget about you. These people are unhinged and his sole mission in life will be destroying you now.

You have already received all of the advice here that you need.

  1. Retain a good lawyer.
  2. Stop talking about this situation online.
  3. File a fucking restraining order
  4. If you are contacted by anyone about this, other than your new lawyer from point 1, DO NOT SAY ANYTHING OTHER THAN REFER THEM TO YOUR LAWYER.
  5. YOU NEED TO BE ON THE OFFENSIVE WITH THIS AND DESTROY THIS PERSON LEGALLY, OR YOU YOURSELF WILL BE DESTROYED.
  6. IF YOU DO ALL OF THE ABOVE YOU WILL ALSO BE IN A POSITION TO DESTROY YOUR UNIVERSITY IF THEY ATTEMPT TO PERSECUTE YOU FOR EXERCISING YOUR FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHT.
2
Itateeverybody 2 points ago +2 / -0

I'm just saying. People would be a whole lot less likely to start being snitches if they knew it would result in some lost teeth every time they tried. But hey, can't fault you for not wanting to go to jail.

2
Onehellofagoy 2 points ago +2 / -0

If only he knew who they were this will soon be the only way forward.

5
MAGAA2020isback 5 points ago +5 / -0

Dude, if you were only on the lawn of the capitol and not inside, you committed absolutely no crime. Going to the rally was exercising your 1st amendment right and you support a president that half the country voted for. The Feds not going to jail millions of Americans who were in DC lawfully protesting. From this perspective, calm down.

Having said this: if the FBI shows up, lawyer up. Do not let them inside without showing a warrant and specifically state, "I'm invoking my right to remain silent and I'd like to speak with my attorney." Say nothing else. While you committed no crime, that doesn't stop them from trying to hang you with one or finding some other bs reason to make your life hell. If this loser who reported you only has evidence of you standing outside the capitol, it is HIGHLY unlikely the FBI will even waste their resources tracking you down.

Say nothing to this loser who reported you. You have nothing to say, and you do not have to defend yourself. Do not admit you were there; don't deny it. Don't make up a lie. Say NOTHING. Do not reply.

As for your college, which is a little more nebulous: my strategy would be this. 1) Say nothing to them, and wait for their correspondence either through an email, call, etc. If this happens: 1) have a consult with an attorney and take their advice. You very likely will NOT need to hire them; rather, shore up your strategy. 2) I would find a pro-Trump faculty member, the higher up the college org chart, the better. Go visit them in person and have an in-face conversation. Nothing in writing or online (basically, nothing that can be recorded or documented). If you get good trusting vibes from your meeting with them, explain your situation and make it clear that you absolutely did nothing illegal. Explain you are worried about your future at the college and how much you love it there. Ask for their advice on what you should do, and make them your ally against anyone at the university who may want to expel a student over their political beliefs. They should help you. Having said this, I highly doubt it will come to that.

Remember: you committed no crime. If you take the above advice, the probability of you going to jail is less than one percent, and while I can't speak for the politics of your school, I highly doubt you will get expelled.

YOU WILL BE FINE. Don't worry. I know everyone has heightened emotions after the 6th and in light of all of the censorship, but don't be rattled.

That stalker of yours needs to be dealt with.

If I were you, I would sue them for harassment.

You exercised your first amendment right. They can’t harass and dox you for that.

First, calm down. Next, do not respond or engage the person that e-mailed you.

Stand your ground - CHRONICLE EVERYTHING - print emails - save on archive.

If Trump loses your fucked. So bank on him winning.

Then - shove a lawsuit so far up their ass you get your degree for free and never have to work a day in your life.

She for MILLIONS. Settle for millions.

Look they need proof that you did something unlawful or illegal. Simply attending a rally isn't an enforceable crime. If they choose to expel you based on political affiliations then sue them for discrimination.

Hopefully this is a troll posting.

If going to a political March gets you expelled from a school, why would you want to be there?

Let them kick you out than Sue and go to a based school on their dime.

Do not speak to them under any terms whatsoever (not to an Ra or anyone else) or waste your money on a lawyer unless you have some kind of disciplinary hearing scheduled.

Inform your parents if they pay your tuition of anything that comes of this.

That's a tough one because even if they're pro Trump, technically what transpired is still considered criminal activity and penalties can be enforced as such.

If you were just on the lawn then I can't imagine them doing anything too harsh but I have no idea how these things go down or how anyone can prove exactly where they were or what they did.

Just deny it. They are going to need hard evidence.

Schools want to avoid this nonsense as much as everyone else. Low chance they contact you and if they do it will just be to check some box to say they confronted you on behave of an offended student so you can apologize to the offended student for going to listen to the president of the US speak lol

Sue them and retire comfortably.

Attending the rally vs entering the capitol are two different things. They are prosecuting the people inside the building. Besides don’t make things easier on them. Like they say speak to a lawyer before digging yourself too deep.

Gestapo wasnt that big. It was neighbors ratting their neighbors out that made them so terrifying.

If you haven't heard anything from your university's student justice people, then don't worry about it. Also, the DOJ isn't going to go after you unless you broke a federal law.

Based on your responses in this thread, you already have made up your mind that you want to deny and delete. You just want us to agree with you so that you can feel good about that for a while.

That's called the shitting-your-pants-and-sitting-in-it-hoping-that-no-one-smells-it strategy.

Don't answer anyone's questions. GET A FUCKING GOOD LAWYER NOW. Get some legal advice and be prepared. This is what adults do. Be a fucking adult. Universities are NOT your friend. If you read about the details of the Duke Lacrosse case, you would know that they would fuck you over in a heartbeat for SJW causes even if DNA tests proved you were innocent.

I can tell you're stressed about it man. Seriously, take the advice and contact a lawyer. They will be best suited to answer any questions or concerns you have. Plus I really think it will give you the peace of mind you're looking for. Liberals don't act rationally so you should protect yourself at all costs. I really think talking to a lawyer will benefit you a lot.

Don’t underestimate college administrators. There is no sense of logic or due process.

Where your U is located makes no difference. They hate noise. It affects funding. They only care about funding.

People tried to get me kicked outta college for not acknowledging systemic racism. Able to laugh about it now since it didn’t do shit. Seriously though, whatever you do, don’t apologize, whatever happens in the end you’ll feel ten times better about yourself if you keep your values in the process and stand up for them.

Follow the one rule: don't say shit without a lawyer. Not to police, not to anyone. There are a thousand and one ways to get you into trouble by saying "the cat is fat."
