So there was the sudden rush of people saying there was going to be an EBS announcement half an hour ago, this and a bunch of other people now claiming that there will be a conference at midnight.

All of these people have (including Lin) been wrong on a myriad of topics. I made a thread earlier and received some good interviews and links and I have become somewhat positive that something of interest will happen tonight, but I am not going to hold my breath.

I don't think Lin acts in bad faith, I just think a lot of the time he gets bad intel and then (incredibly foolishly on his part) relays it as fact to his millions of followers who are hanging on to every word in the hopes that this nightmare will come to an end.
