I honestly was saying we needed to 4 years ago while a Republican would allow it. I have been saying we needed to just to have a RED country of REPUBLICAN values for over 16 years. I know multiple people who've had the license to even own guns pulled for a loud argument at home called in by a stashi liberal neighbor with no actual crimes committed. They take your guns too. A year later when you finally go before a judge for the 3rd time and finally you get them back (license is still arbitrary so you may not be able to take home, may have to sell, if the chief won't reissue) you also get a bill for storage that greatly exceeds the value of the now rusted firearm.
None of what I just said is an exaggeration, it's how it goes down.
