Agreed. I picked plenty of fuel and put sta-bil in it to keep it fresh, picked up a bunch of water and some extra high quality toilet paper cuz fuck the cheap sandpaper that was left last time. I packed fuckoff bags for the wife and myself with a week's clothes, $1000 each, a couple leatherman multitools, and some assorted shit. I have canned food in a box in the garage along with extra pillows and winter sleeping bags.

Only real things we'd still have to pack are our meds, animals and their food, the guns and ammo we need the most (my father-in-law has an armada), and our birth certificates in the event we need to prove our identity at some point.

Then it'll be off to the inlaws' farm and miles from civilization. Nothing but country fields and good old boys for a country mile. Aside from power, he's self-sustaining. He has a stanbdby generator, but that won't last long when the fuel runs out.
