I'm thankful that Jesus bears my sin because God does not tolerate evil. I deserve DEATH for my sin and as I read through the old testament and see how many sins I might think small used to carry the death penalty I'm reminded of just how great a burden Jesus bore for our sin.
The penalty for sin is still just as harsh as we see in the old testament, but thankfully Jesus takes the place of those who put their faith in Him.
