Somebody once described Republicans as a party of "beautiful losers"; they're perfectly fine with losing to the left as long as they don't compromise their "principles."
Sounds like that’s a question that could be a post on it’s own for others to add input. There’s a lot of different ideologies here. I imagine Northern Conservatism fits the description for many. I’d like to think we are all anti-communists and against other “Far Left” ideologies.
