Real talk: is are the companies listed really offering anything essential for modern life? My gut says no.

58
ProtorP 58 points ago +58 / -0

Not in the slightest. Everything they offer is a luxury. If they were to disappear overnight, everyone would just use some other similar service.

Hell, we just went through a so-called pandemic....I can get by with PB&J and a landline phone.

1
Slenderman 1 point ago +1 / -0

True.

12
Patriot_Cabbage 12 points ago +12 / -0

I don't use any of them.

I unshackled myself from social media over 7 years ago, and I've been so much happier and fulfilled. One of the best decision I ever made.

3
R-A-T-S- 3 points ago +3 / -0

So no cellphones?

4
ChinaVirusBigly 4 points ago +4 / -0

You can use a cell phone without using any of those other apps. I know android is still Google, but you can at least use alternative apps, it's a starting point.

1
R-A-T-S- 1 point ago +1 / -0

For now. It won't be long till Google is like "nah, our store or nothing."

1
ChinaVirusBigly 1 point ago +1 / -0

Jailbreaking will always be possible, although obviously it cuts off like a billion users if they do that since most non tech savvy people don't know how to download , 3rd party apps

1
ModernKnight 1 point ago +1 / -0

I still use an old flip phone, no internet connection, no capacity for apps, just phone and text. And I'm looking at ditching it for a landline lol

1
R-A-T-S- 1 point ago +1 / -0

Question there of course becomes how long till you can't use the flip phone? And were will you buy your landline at?

10
Agent_355 10 points ago +10 / -0

That's the difference between them and us: for us, soc med can be cut out of our day to day.

7
jdog 7 points ago +7 / -0

Nothing that says they don't need to be broken up.

2
Justheretoupvote 2 points ago +2 / -0

In fact, I'm about to drop my smart phone and data service for a flip phone. Was planning on doing it anyway, but come Feb 1 my liability is cut.

I remember life before the internet. I'll gladly return to it.

I feel bad for people who don't have a tangible skill.

So.. no ATT. until no phone. Who gives a shit?

They've only been around a hundred years or so. It's not necessary to be tethered.

If I don't pay to advertise my business on Google I disappear from searches. The more I pay the higher I show up. Capitalism or Control?

18
Honk4Trump 18 points ago +18 / -0

I stopped paying for google ads and focused more on what I call “analog marketing.” Billboards, newspapers, etc.

8
DroolingElmo 8 points ago +8 / -0

Won't work in my business. 95% of customers find me on the web, 5 % are returning folks. I don't sell to locals or a market. Literally could have one customer from 100 different counties and 10 foreigners in one day.

Would love to be advertising in the real world like you....

5
Honk4Trump 5 points ago +5 / -0

I almost justified buying some google ads because trump used them during the campaign but I just couldn’t do it.

3
Lord_Kek 3 points ago +3 / -0

I can't even cancel my YT music sub feelsbadman.jpg

2
jaaardstyck 2 points ago +2 / -0

When Google decided to shut down Play Music last year, I staunchly refused to move my tunes over to Youtube Music. Like hell I'm gonna listen to ads during my imported CD's.

In the midst of building a NAS MP3 library instead.

2
Current_Year_Acct 2 points ago +2 / -0

You can do organic SEO.

Not discouraging you from advertising if you need to, just saying because a LOT of SEO scam companies will claim you can't show up on google unless you pay for X. I've even had a godaddy sales rep pitching me some SEO tool, who didn't understand what he was trying to sell me thinking I genuinely couldn't get listed on google without purchasing this product.

Because their allies in the government will make their use mandatory unless we resist both big tech and the government. Make no mistake, the technocracy (along with mandated use of technology, maybe not specifically Twitter and Facebook, but I bet the same players will be involved) is coming and it will come with the Great Reset which is to be implemented within 10 years. Despite what larpers on TDW think, that will require violence in the near future. TDW isn’t the place to make plans for that, but even the founding fathers knew the US government would have to be violently resisted in the future to keep the republic.

Anna Makanju is the key advisor behind the censorship with Zuckerberg and others with her connections to Soros, Biden, Srdja Popovic, Ivan Marovic and the Color Revolution. She led organizing efforts to create the model in Racine, Wisconsin, and the current corrupt Mayor of Racine along with Anna, Ivan & others led the takeover and breach of the Wisconsin state capital buildings long ago setting the example for DC on Jan 6.

Brad Smtih is another key advisor whi is from Racine, Wisconsin and is the President of Microsoft with ElectionGuard, AccountGuard and the New Deal Leaders along with Mayor Pete and many others involved. He is the key advisor regarding COVID and elections to the global elite. ‘ Zuckerberg, CTCL and others used Racine to rig the other pivot districts in the key swing states. This is why Nancy Pelosii said:

”No pressure, it’s all riding on Wisconsin, no pressure.”

Racine, Wisconsin is the “root” and model for rigging the election and the entire agenda. The Root must be exposed.

1
CloakAndDagger 1 point ago +2 / -1

Stop copypasting this shit everywhere or at least word it differently. "racine is the root racine is the root 24/7" at least say "source" not "root" from time to time. You're trying to redpill people but it comes off as an inorganic madness mantra.

Also what IS the model exactly? Lockdowns? I'm pretty sure San Francisco has stricter lockdowns than Racine so San Francisco is more of a model for the NWO than Racine. Rigging the election? Every swing state did it not just Wisconsin and certainly not just Racine. Some globalist fuck used to live in Racine? So what? A lot of them used to live in New York so New York might as well be the "rOoT and MoDeL" of the agenda. Nothing you say really adds up here.

I'm not doubting the Soros/Color Revolution/big tech conspiracy but Racine is insignificant, it's just a fucking town in the USA and in the hypermodern infowar of 2021, geographical locations are more inconsequential than ever. Everything happens online, who gives a shit about Racine unless there is some big happening on the ground there.

Joe Biden didn’t rig a billion dollar referendum in San Francisco or New York. He did it in Racine.

The “most over-arching COVID order or ordinance in the nation” wasn’t passed in SF or NY. It was passed in Racine.

Mayor Pete didn’t make the final pitch for Biden in SF or NY, he did it in Racine.

Zuckerberg and CTCL didn’t use those cities as the model to rig the election. He used Racine.

The President of Microsoft didn’t grow up in SF or NY, he grew up in Racine. His name is Brad Smith.

Anna Makanju didn’t focus her organizing efforts for Soros in NY or SF. She focused on Racine. How is she connected with Biden’s Ukraine deals, Zuckerberg and the censorship spree, and the Color Revolution with Srdja Popovic and Ivan Marovic. How did Ivan help the mayor of Racine invade the capital building in Madison similar to what happened on Jan 6 in DC?

The Invention Capital of the World was not in NY or CA, it was Racine.

Slavery and the Underground Railroad didn’t “end” in those places. It “ended” in Racine.

The Path of Souls doesn’t lead to SF or NYC, it leads to Racine.

Did you know the Rothschilds live in Racine still today? So do the Bauers. Rothschild’s real name was Bauer. What is True Blood? Why did Dahmer and Podestas hang out in Racine? Why is Racine a hub for dialysis? How is Racine connected with Brazil? Who benefited from Zika? How is Zika linked with COVID and where are the two most advanced mosquito labs? Racine and China.

Racine is the historic Bellwether and key pivot district of the entire nation, and is the model for Agenda 21 / 2030 (see Earth Summit and Sustainable Racine). The real agenda beyond is global enslavement.

This isn’t copied and pasted.

We know more than everyone on here combined. How?

The control is a facade. Many businesses do extremely well without them and better solutions are emerging. People love free speech. There is a big market for freedom right now. There is not a big market for communism and socialism. They project there is one but it is fake. The election made that clear. 75M fucking votes. He totally won it. Everyone knows it.

Did they.. perhaps.. "conspire" to do this?

4
ARfreedom 4 points ago +4 / -0

Whether they meant to create them or not, the left's regulation and passing bills to control big corporation is what forced them to come into existence. As laws and regulations became more complex and burdensome only massive corporations with deep pockets could afford the lawyers and lobbyists to navigate it all. In a feedback loop the corporations getting more and more massive lobbied the Gov't to create more regulation and more laws chocking out any possible natural startup competitor.
President Trump was right to cut regulation, only by creating a simple level playing field can the big tech fucktards be taken down by effective market forces. President Trump was right to want to remove section 230. Remove any protections, tax incentives, all gov't programs, that attempt to help or harm corporations, and let the old giants of today be taken down by the nimble and adaptable smaller companies.

Fuck you faggot.

All of these fucking retards larping like the world is ending because Facebook closed their fucking account.

Why are all white men basically whiny fucking women?

1

You forget that the vast majority of small businesses are on our side. It's 2021 - a lot of them rely on social media for advertising, word of mouth, disseminating information about themselves, and even e-commerce.

The boomer age is a world WITHOUT all that stuff

I have this same thought about Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. The left AND right both hate them. It's only the corrupt establishment that props them up.

No, they don't. They can be dumped and life will go on. If they screw up so badly that live will improve, it will happen fast. I think Google is almost there.

Communications modes and most ways of life are now on mobile and that means apps. Apple and Google offer the primary fastest way to get to these apps. In that way they do gatekeep the world. ((You can still download apps via SDK file but its a manual step and if the OEM phone makers, Apple and Google, wanted to change this, they could.))

In a much more real sense, AWS is the pre-dominant player in cloud-based IT infrastructure. Something nearly every company or organization in the world is built on. Competitors are Google GCP or Microsoft Azure; see the problem?

AWS opted to kick Parler out as a customer. This is unprecedented and is a huge burden to a company as it means they need to re-develop their back end. It is harmful.

But John, the CEO of Parler, used to be an AWS engineer. As any cloud engineer worth their salt would, he anticipated the possibility this could happen and chose to build bare metal. They will be back up in just a few days.

As fallout this will make many AWS customers question their reliance on this platform. Theirs is a model based on mutual trust. This is now an opportunity for other cloud providers to step forward and take market share and to promote a multi-cloud or hybrid model. And an opportunity for server manufacturers to shine.
