They already do it for free. Branch Covidians in my town are constantly virtue signaling about reporting businesses to the State for any real or perceived violations of the lockdown edicts. Back when the state parks were closed they were calling the State Police on cars that were parked outside the park gates. The great irony is that these are also the same people who hate the police and enjoy calling everyone else a "bootlicker".
My boss is friends with a sheriff in a different county- he said he gets calls often about kids at the playground and they need to go "shut it down". He's anti lockdown so he more or less tells the assholes to get bent.
