I'm actually looking for a new phone that doesn't have all this preinstalled shit that I don't want, never use and can't remove because I have no idea how to root. So I'm in.
I've got an android and facebook and other crap are on there and I can't get it off. Not to mention every time I turn facebook off, the next day it's back freaking on for notifications. Just venting as it pisses me off.
On mine I just click the app icon and drag it to the top of the screen. Then a little uninstall icon appears and I drag it onto that. It asks "Are you sure you want to uninstall this app?" I click yes, and it uninstalls.
It doesn't work for the built-in apps, by I uninstalled the Facebook app just now.

when I got my oneplus phone there were NO preinstalled apps that weren't oneplus branded
That's what I've been looking/waiting for. I'll wait to see if/when gab comes out with something. I don't need tons of apps, just basic stuff. Thanks.

Rooting is not hard. Flashing a new rom is not hard. Just stop being lazy & get up n do it
