When I was a dumb kid, I did something stupid, and almost died. I've hovered over the rim of Hell. And I was an atheist when it happened. I didn't believe in heaven or hell.
It used to scare me shitless that Hell actually exists. I mean, how the fuck can Hell actually exist?? You don't know what horror is. You don't understand what fear is. You don't even comprehend it, because you are physically incapable of processing that degree of trauma and horror.
But now, it comforts me. Because the beginning and end of Hell is the idea of justice. These people might squeak by in life, but they will not in death. And the best part of it is they convince themselves that Hell is make-believe. But I know, deep down, that they know Goddamned good and well that it exists. But like the animals on the farm, they pretend not to see the butchering shed, because their psychopathic brains are too busy getting money and pussy and fame.

That they know, somewhere in the back of their limited minds, that hell exists, gives me some sort of comfort. The moment before they die, they will be crushed w the fear of all their hideous sins, weighing upon them & have no moment to repent.

Thank you. I am a writer. I've been working on a novel for twenty years, in between the hard part of living and working and raising a family. I based the pattern and spirit of the book on the LOTR, though its certainly not another one of these candy-corn knock offs. Just has the same depths of history and backstory, while maintaining a simple, clean story.
However, what I found out the hard way is that the same diarrhea shit-piles that control everything also control the publishing agencies and literary agents. Soooooooo, it may be that no one ever reads it.

You’ll find your publisher, don’t worry. Look for surprise smaller agencies or ones that have obscure books. The greatest blessing in disguise might just be that you’re not meant to go to one of those cookie cutter places. Maybe to find the right place (or self publish) will be the magic sauce to success. (But still do marketing for it!!)
