I live in the Metro Detroit area (about and hour outside of Toledo, Ohio) and all restaurants are closed. Everyone walks around with masks and quite frankly, they are frightened. Today my Fiance and I decided to drive down to Ohio for a night out at a steak house. Damn were we surprised. It felt "normal". People were not jumping out of the way as you walked in their path and they were super polite.

In reality, Gretchen Whitmer is outsourcing Michigan's restaurant industry to Ohio and Indiana. We drove down there and spent our money paying Ohio state taxes. What an idiot this woman is.

BTW we made it home safe. Who would have thought??? Gretchen has our community scared to their teeth, it's frightening what she is doing.

lol calling Ohio "normal"

shit is really hitting the fan.

p.s. half the restaurants here in SW Ohio are shuttered too with only drive thru service. gotta wear a mask everywhere, etc.

But who is making that decision? Our Governor has literally shut everything down. Is the business making that decision?

But yea, I agree.. when we start saying Ohio is like a vacation.. shit is really backwards.

the mask order is from the governor. the laundromat i go to has a sign outside saying Mike is forcing them to enforce mask mandate. it was one of the last holdouts around here over the summer. i dont think there is a mandate for restaurants but i think most have just decided to suspend indoor dining. i believe there is a bar curfew too but i dont go to any so dont pay attention.

constantly being berated by crying nurses on the radio cus us dumb hicks dont believe in the rona. really getting sick of it.
