Me too. I always figured it would happen but thought they'd continue boiling the frog, not lay it all out there within 48 hours.

They appear to be extremely desperate and scared. Why not wait, as you asked? Why not continue boiling the frog? Something that we must not know must be really worrying them...something Trump could theoretically affect or do before he leaves office....hmmmm.
