Honestly, the web browser could be more powerful than any social media move if people started using it by the millions. It would be game changing in a way that most people don't yet understand. If people started using the web browser we could solve almost every problem eventually.
Desktop software is still fairly resistant to the kind of attacks we see on free-speech, and Dissenter allows people to comment on any page - fact checking the news in real time. It also has security and privacy features which would rob a lot of big-techs big-data and advertising revenue. If 75 million Trump supporters downloaded dissenter, we have an actual fighting chance.

I downloaded the center, but Mac will not open it. Says that the developer cannot be verified, or verify that the app is free of malware.
