It should, it was obvious then and now you have a president-elect who says that was the reason he ran for office.

He knows it's a lie. He has an entire staff that knows it's a lie. His given reason for running for office is a hoax and he is, even in his dementia addled state, fully aware of it and yet, this is where we are.

They don't care because they have the corporate press to enforce the narrative on enough people that are either too lazy or stupid to realize it was a hoax.
