As we see, decentralization is the future. Anything else just a bandaid.

Twetch is a twitter alternative that uses cryptocurrency for all interactions. You basically get paid when people interact with your stuff (like, reply, etc). Likewise, you pay to do these things. 2 cents to post. 5 cents to like, etc.

The site takes a cut and gives you the rest. They also start you off with a little bit of money to get you started.

Odysee is a video hosting site. If you heard of Lbry, this is the normie consumer facing side. People running the lbry app provide hosting an. Kind of like Twetch, you earn money by watching, interacting etc.

Awe man. That sucks.

However, that doesn't matter too much. The CEO specifically points out how if they ever turn evil, someone else could stand up a new site with all your likes, subscriptions, etc in tact since that's all on the blockchian.

That's why decentralized is the future. Anyone who is cool now might not be in 5, 10, or 15 years.
