Apple might have a lot of political influence, but the FCC tightly controls the US airwaves and networks. They absolutely would not let a private company play cowboy with the communication systems. I've had to work with carriers, specifically with the reserved bandwidth networks created by the 911 commission. They love their control more than anything else.
The FCC is in a similar group to the IRS. This would be like saying Apple has decided to not pay payroll taxes for conservative employees. The IRS would happily rain hell down on them for that just like anyone else.
There is a lot of actual stupidity going on in our government right now, but this is just a distraction. I don't know what Lin is trying to do lately with all of the nonsense, but go back and look at the shit he has posted in the last few days and tell me if ANY of it has even remotely started to come true.
