No thats not how things work. A username can be connected to an email, the email to an IP-adress. That requires site admin to give up that info - or bypassing admins and getting the info through the site host. Thats already sketchy. Next step is connecting IP to a physical person, which is even much more complicated. You dont go through that much to visit a random person to ask questions. OP might be a LARP.

Yeah, I guess they won't know who is which username, will they? Could be a LARP, or maybe the site admins gave up his info. I can pretty much guarantee that if one guy's comment threatened the safety of the website, they would give up his info.

And maybe since they're not allowed to say, that's why they put out that message warning people not to make threats.
