Ok, so I need more data that I can wrap up into an email and send to my Mom as she's maintaining that Trump is throwing Pence under the bus and calling Pence a traitor only because Trump lost.

This has been mirrored all over the internet and is no secret now. Pence was talking about a GOP rule that would allow him to take Trump's spot as a candidate if Trump were to die. Can't make this up.

The only thing that came to mind is Pence failing to object to the electors after promising to do so.
Part of the problem here is that I have not really been tracking what Pence has been doing as focusing on the election stuff (when I'm not working or adulting) and combined with visiting family for the holidays (just got back to home), I'm a bit out of the loop, so only caught the electoral college vote count. What irked me about that is when Pence cracked a smirk after it was all done... as I was wondering what that reaction was from - although I could be misreading a wince and he was expecting it to go a different way. I also saw the Judas payment.
Either way, if I'm going to be sending stuff to my family, it needs to be easily digestible and pretty ironclad so I'm going to need sources and links... which is a bit of a problem as I've been out of this for a bit.

I'll often ask overbroad questions (including questions that relate to information I already know) to make sure I'm not missing something. As I'm going to be sending this to family, I want to make sure that the information is actually solid and not based off of other stuff going on.
