When the Italygate story broke, I was too busy watching the chaos in DC to pay much attention. Several things about the way the story was reported seemed odd to me so I guessed that it was just another fanciful claim. When I finally doubled back to read the affidavit, I was blown away by how it explains many things.  This election has been an emotional rollercoaster so I don’t want to give anyone false hope but honestly, what I learned gives me hope.  Here’s a link to the affidavit if you want to read it yourself… https://drive.google.com/file/d/1RQMxmbW8ujZmfTUl2D1jXWS996ZgmoHo/view  Thankfully, the Italians wrote it in English.  It’s a legitimate Italian legal document about a man in custody who has confessed to controlling the vote switching.  The affidavit is clear, makes sense, and is actionable.

Context is important here.  We’ve known for a long time that voting machines across the country were performing widespread Trump to Biden vote switching during the election.  Several independent analyses have shown that.  Shortly after the election, the head of our Army cyberwarfare group testified about this vote switching and said that they intercepted internet traffic between the voting machines (which were not supposed to be connected to the internet) and a computer in Frankfurt.  I had expected to hear much more about this crime before now, but without an apprehended perpetrator, all of the compelling technical evidence that votes were switched is just too abstract for non-technical courts and the public to accept.

If I was planning to commit such a crime, I’d choose to route the communications through a secure military satellite link to make it difficult for law enforcement to trace the communications to my physical location.  The affidavit claims that a secure military satellite network was used to route the communications between Frankfurt and the Pescara Italy facility of Italian defense contractor Leonardo.  The guy who claims to have changed the votes himself is the head IT guy at Leonardo.  He not only has the technical knowledge to commit this crime, he also has access to the Leonardo satellite link to do it.  That’s very compelling evidence.  I’m guessing that they were able to catch him because of something they learned while investigating in Frankfurt.

The alleged perpetrator said that he has both the original election data and the corrupted election data that's reviewable.  That data makes it really easy for our cyber team to verify his story in a way that would be indisputable in court.  He also said that he was being directed by people in the American Embassy in Rome, which makes sense.  Where else would un-American Americans control an Italian operation from?  We almost certainly know who was in that embassy during the election, and we probably have access to all of their phone records during the election.

Talk about an election MOAB.  Obviously, anyone who was involved in this crime would be freaking out right now, which explain the seemingly insane level of censorship and cyberwarfare the left unleashed against Americans, as well as their fanatical calls for impeachment of a president who is supposed to be leaving office on the 20th.  The left's fascist tendencies are well known but why wouldn't they wait two weeks to begin their reign of terror? This all smacks of desperation.

I’ve tried to keep my desire for this story to be true from influencing my judgement but I just can’t find any holes in it.  Too many pieces of the puzzle fit perfectly.  I've heard that it’s always darkest before the dawn.
