almost every store that has base electronics has them.
they are usually categorized under 'prepaid phones'
even att, verizon etc sell them.
in my case, i use cricket locally.
and you can pay a brick and mortor store, cash for the account.
so my cricket account and phone do not have any ties to my name.
theres no address or name or anything in that cricket account.
only a dummy email account to log in and check status.
