Too many outside eyes trying to find anyone who slips up and posts a serial number or catches a mistake or violates a new ATF rule in the future that they can go after you for.
All it takes is an ATF ruling and BAM, panty raid.
I've seen people put the wrong uppers on a gun and not realize it, I've seen new gun owners put the wrong accessories on a pistol, while this used to be a good place to get advice on how to correct your mistakes, there is no room for any mistakes anymore.
So please don't post your guns.
Post poptarts, soldering irons, and what-not.

No. There's nothing illegal about it, and I'm taking them out boating anyway.
If you put the wrong stock/brace on an AR lower then you are committing a felony. Hell, the ATF could change the rules overnight and you could be committing a felony.
