Gab would be better off not hiring any of those people, especially senior level employees. Senior level employees know what is going on and have an influence on design decisions being made. They had an opportunity to speak up or leave, they didn't, they have made their bed, time to go to sleep.
Most software engineers are center right and go libertarian, I have several friends who work in the Bay Area that lean this way. They despise conservatism because brainwashing from media, but they also despise the Left as many of their values conflict, especially on censorship.

I have several friends inform me that they put in their two weeks yesterday and have no backup plan; and that was FB and Twitter and Strips alone. They’ll find work I’m sure but the fact that they did this as soon as the news broke means it was a protest and a contentious issue at their workplace
