Get rid of all your accounts. Shop only at local small businesses. Get rid of this poison in your life. Meet people in person. Join community groups and church/synagogue groups.

Small businesses are being crippled with lockdowns allowing Amazon to thrive. We need to stop this monopolisation. RINOs caused this

The death of the small business is the plan, I'm really sure of it.

The soviets didn't start killing them right away. They only killed the peasants when they refused to give their grain to the state. We are very very close to that point.

Well we got guns. Come out and try to kill mass groups or no food and water people will fight. So slowly remove things. Freedom of speech is going now. Guns end of this month. Say what you all want but have a gun they will lock down bank accounts etc until you turn them in.

We are also at a point where Roddy Piper's "They Live" is just about bang-on exactly correct and the ending, probably deemed 'lazy' and goofball is now just about exactly what needs to happen.

Not to mention banks are now getting involved in thr culture war as are credit card companies like Visa and Mastercard.

And what's that, you want to just live your life peacefully and work for a living, well tough the government declare you can't work and heres $600 to live off.

To think you can just live off grid now is niave at best. These companies have profiles on you even if you think you have never used them. Even now your using some device that will be tracking you, this website has some host that is likely google, Amazon linked. Not to mention your ISP tracking what you do.

The time to stop this was 5 years ago, now we have to play in their world with their rules.

9
RegularAmerican 9 points ago +9 / -0

It's only going to get worse. I just hope if the machines get smart like in the terminator they exterminate the people destroying America. And leave the patriots alone because they know we aren't evil and the machines learned to believe in God. One can dream

10
Britas 10 points ago +10 / -0

Unfortunately it looks like places such as Amazon, Google and China are the ones leading the way in AI at such arrogant pace.

These fucktards will enable true AI before they have any controls in place, like switching on a brain with no ability to regulate it's anger or modulate emotions because you haven't gotten to that bit yet.

It's the same singular thinking that led to that team sending a message on behalf of Earth to the stars nearest to us. Sure it might in one singular outcome work out, but in a million different ways it could fuck us in the ass. But so long as they get their little trophy and the "I was the first" self importance.

That mentally explains a lot of those who run things like Twitter, Facebook. The "i'm right so your all wrong" thinking.

17

I’ve worked in crypto for years and am by no means anti-crypto but it’s part of the Great Reset, sorry to break this to ya

1
rutabaga 1 point ago +1 / -0

3d printing organs was also part of the "great reset". That whole thing was done by retarted rich people showing off their communist wet dreams, not a decent plan.

There is a problem if off chain transactions can occur (btc, but not bsv), or CPUs can be hacked and crypto sold (intel me, amd psp), but in the latter case, you'd have a record of it, and you can guard against both of those, unlike USD.

1
deleted 1 point ago +1 / -0
2
TacoTrump 2 points ago +2 / -0

Why? Serious question.

5
rutabaga 5 points ago +5 / -0

Cryptocurrencies are easier to set up and exchange than even paypal, and should have zero tax sent to any company, and zero ability to cancel your account (though transactions can't be private and on a blockchain at the same time). Each coin may have its downsides, but they can be traded through coin exchanges pretty quickly, so another coin will take over if the downsides are too much.

14
FOUR_MORE_TERMS 14 points ago +14 / -0

I'm not anti crypto but you better believe a cashless society is what THEY want.

Central Bank crypto coins already in the works. And they're saying it's with the purpose of social control. Already happening.

2

1
Whatyougotson 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yep power goes down (when they control? ) ooh sorry can't access your money.

1
Ballind 1 point ago +1 / -0

He's an idiot. Crypto was pitched early as an anonymous way to spend money and people have been allowed to go wild with it with little regulation for some time.

Unfortunately that has given the impression that it is truly anonymous. The reality is that block chain technology gives people the ability to track spend in a way you can't with any other currency. It's easier to track the path of a Bitcoin across any transaction anywhere than it is to track a usd within a single financial institution. The Bitcoin has a unique ID that is recorded at each transaction and embeds information about path dependency. By design, you can see every single digital wallet it's passed through in order. If your wallet is anonymous, they wouldn't be able to tie it to you, however it's the single point of failure. How do you fund it, spend it, or cash out without identifying yourself?

4
FOUR_MORE_TERMS 4 points ago +4 / -0

And, because of our government using our tax dollars to subsidize shipping from China, most small businesses are just selling cheap shit from China, too.

I kind of miss when going to the video store and picking out a movie was in itself an event. Every Friday we would go and get a movie or two, hoping to snag a new release. We’d wander around looking at choices, picking some candy...video stores were fun. I miss them. My whole family would rent one movie and we’d all watch together. Now, usually I am on my device and everyone in our family is watching their own thing...kind of sad, really.

Sometimes, we think things evolve for the better, but maybe not.

19
dadmda123 19 points ago +20 / -1

We have a few record stores around Minneapolis, which are fun. I do miss going to Musicland at the mall and picking out Christmas gifts for my dad. It was so fun looking at albums and cassettes and then the VHS movies. What a fun experience shopping used to be. Sure beat sitting at a computer shopping online.

11
pmyourcovfefes 11 points ago +11 / -0

Yes. This was thing on Friday’s or if there was a really good movie out we’d go first thing Friday morning. If it was a really really good movie us kids would be directed to man the returns station to see if someone had dropped it off while in store.

My parents would get a few movies and us kids would get one video game. Rotated between us. My siblings hated me. They’d pick shit like donkey Kong and Zelda. Me? I had some kick about game shows and word games. It was a great experience in learning bartering. I’d trade my game week for chores.

22
HockeyMom4Trump 22 points ago +22 / -0

I was very late to get a cell phone or even use the internet. This is shocking, but it was 2014. Before that, I read the newspaper. Played with my kids. Read books. Hiked. Played sports. Played with Play-Doh. Baked. Did art projects. At hockey I talked to other moms. Now, everyone is always on a phone. Including me. Sigh.

9
Ponzo 9 points ago +9 / -0

we got internet in the late 90s early 00's but i never used my cellphone except to play snake in school or download new ringtones.

But we had a computer at home and i used to hang around in palace chat getting groomed by old frustrated milfs when i was 13 years old. Lost my virginity at 14 to a 27 year old mom

Oh and i played duke nukem and americas army operations

but if social media never showed up, i would have been much happier. Kids and people today literally live on social media. They would feel empty without it. Sad!

3
HockeyMom4Trump 3 points ago +3 / -0

I am unsettled to hear you lost your virginity at 14 to a 27 year old mother. There is something terribly wrong with that woman. Young men have a tough time and I thing teen boys need a ton of support and guidance. Athletics help.

6
RegularAmerican 6 points ago +6 / -0

Don't feel bad hockeymom. I'm really impressed that you're able to keep up with all this while also having to focus on raising your family. And I bet it's stressful. My mom just turns on ABC local news every evening. I guess it's good she gets too drunk to listen or remember what kind of shit they're trying to brainwash her with. God bless her but she has zero clue. You do. You can teach your kids and believe me they listen and learn. My dad had me listen to rush every day growing up and would always tell me how they were stealing all of our money from us with taxes they waste for fun. That stuff stuck with me. Back then he understood. Heck, we weren't allowed to watch Bill Cosby. My dad said he was a horrible influence LOL. How is that for foresight?

Now that we're expecting our son this spring, I've obviously gonna put some of my dedication here trying to drop redpills to strangers all day. And focus on raising my boy right. With love from the start. It pains me that he won't get to enjoy the free country I did growing up with my spoiled generation.

But I swear this kid will be playing with a BB rifle before he has access to the internet. I have so many classic movies from my childhood I want to share with him. I will have to tell him the truth when he's old enough and that's where I fear hell think of me as cowardly for not doing more to stop this garbage. But there's nothing I can do. I tried. I'm just one average american who's on unemployment and every form of welfare I can get. I have no desire anymore to work hard to have my taxes go to funding the new marxist union of Wiemerica. I'm just gonna move out super rural with my wife and son and do our own thing. I'm just happy my parents set up a trust and have been financially successful (lucky boomers!) Ha. But as long as they don't rob that from us somehow by seizing the banks or whatever I should be ok. My wife doesn't need much to be happy she grew up in the third world. She's happy eating spam and canned beef. And can do laundry by hand.

2
HockeyMom4Trump 2 points ago +2 / -0

Congratulations! Having a child is an amazing thing. There is nothing more fun than spending time with your children.

But I will warn you, those first few months are hard! Those little babies are a ton of work and they don't let you get much sleep at all. Make sure you team up with your wife and tackle his demands together. My oldest son was up every two hours and we had to take sleeping shifts. That kid wore us out! But now he is in college and I can barely get him to get up before noon when he visits, so remember how things change and those moments may seem tough, but they are fleeting. Embrace the chaos and give that boy your all!

8
NYC_4_Trump 8 points ago +8 / -0

You have a point about social media. In theory, it is a tool that connects us so much that it should keep the government in check. Unfortunately, it is corrupted by the government - and used as a propaganda and spy tool.

I've been off social media for 7 years. Best decision I ever made. For people that want to stick with it, I would recommend having a "time and place" for it. When we were growing up, you traveled to the internet. It was home, or in a library. It was slightly out of reach. So, you had a time to visit the internet. In that sense, the internet didn't invade your life. You controlled when and where you saw it.

Bring that back - and you will be much happier. Don't use your phone for internet. Buy a laptop, or desktop. I don't care if you sit 10 hours in front of it or 1, it is infinitely better than walking around in a constant state of "online."

3
Frog_Anne 3 points ago +3 / -0

You could treat it a bit like dial-up. I'm an older millennial, and we only had slow dial-up in our area for ages and ages. You had to check with parents that it was okay to tie up the phone line, and then a time limit so you couldn't just play around online for hours. I really need to do that, actually. I could do something useful instead of wasting so much time online. She said, while online way past bedtime.

There are plenty of alternatives to aquire needed goods. Thrift and antique stores. Yard sales. Craigslist. Ask family, neighbors, and friends. Learn to repair things and shop curbside. Share, don't buy.

Start your own lending library co-op group for media, tools, and toys. Barter with others for items and services.

13
NYC_4_Trump 13 points ago +14 / -1

I started my own streaming by using Plex. I own my media, I control my library. Best part of all: ~90% of my media was bought used. I didn't give a dime to Hollywood.

Most interesting thing about my library: 95% of my films are made before 2009. I wonder what could have happened in America around 2009 that made me hate Hollywood?

4
rush4life1980 4 points ago +4 / -0

Best movies where the 50s to 90s for me. But still enjoy movies made today, nothing changed in 2009 to Hollywood that was not already there in the years before.

Like you, I've been enjoying movies from past eras (not so long ago!) that don't cater to this new SJW Critical Theory messaging.

But I wanted to share that the new Midway movie, about war in the Pacific Theater was awesome. Checks all the boxes. Fully wholesome and uplifting war movie, and more historical accuracy than the 1970's version. I loved it, and wanted to make sure you don't miss out.

2
NYC_4_Trump 2 points ago +2 / -0

Very cool. Thanks for the tip, I will definitely check it out. I’m always looking for new good movies.

1
Cyer6 1 point ago +1 / -0

Same here. Love my Plex library. Watch what I want when I want. When I see an older movie or something I don't have yet, I can find it. All of it's HD and in 5.1 Dolby. Watching a movie at home in surround is better than a theater. I think movie theaters will go the way of Blockbuster. Weird that Hollywood would support a scam like covid that's killing concerts and live events, and their movie industry.

4
Frog_Anne 4 points ago +4 / -0

A lending library for games would be great for family night. Instead of a movie, just try some board games. To be fair, I enjoy movies quite a bit, but the truth is they have a lot of things in them that promote, let's call it "Hollywood values." Not just dirty language, but promiscuity, skimpy clothing, bratty kids, the dumb dad stereotype. It wouldn't be a bad thing to be more choosy about which movies we watch, and try some board games or something instead. Or go outside for games or hiking, in case we need to be in shape in the future.

The question is if we can live without them while the other half of the population gets to enjoy them, because that's the world these totalitarians are aiming for. They and their goodthinker minions will have jobs and money and easy access to everything while conservatives will be banned from them. But the societal expectation will be that you have access. "I'll just PayPal you the money I borrowed... wait, you can't use PayPal?" Multiply this conversation by whatever number of services are mistreating and banning conservatives.

It would be easier if everyone in society had to live without these conveniences. But that's not what they're pushing for.

3
POOP_SMEARED_TITTIES 3 points ago +3 / -0

Consider this: technology is tools. The first technology was hammers, sticks, rocks, blades.

Never blame the tool, unless the tool is broken. The truth is that the user of the tool is almost always to blame.

Do guns kill people? Or do gun users kill people?

Is tech tool xyz evil? Or is the user, using tech tool xyz a certain (bad) way, evil?

  2. Most people have a smart TV now a days. Get yourself a 2 TB USB hardrive and load it up with good material. Not bullshit. Class movies, things you enjoy, things you enjoy watching over again. TV Series your children like. Things that are good for them. You can load thousands of programs on it and plug it right in and watch it without internet. Better yet, buy a damn dvd player and go oldschool. It's so much better.

  3. Get off social media. I have killed every account. I'm only on the donald for you guys and parler for current event updates and gab in case the president goes there.

  4. My main use of internet is for work related things. Get back to pre-2000 life people! They have tried to destroy us with only 20 years of new platforms!

Well said. Just finished building a media server with a lot of content (won't say how much as that could be incriminating), and I love it. Not all tech is bad though. I am DYING to get a set of the newly remastered LOTR in 4k. Also, the newer UHD players add a very impressive amount of quality to older content via upscaling and other algorithms.

Spawnlingman 7 points ago +7 / -0

My wife asked me why I kept over 8 boxes of movies and dvds I've purchased over the years. I told her they'd come in useful someday. I filled my entire external with my boxes of movies I loved enough to buy. Entire TV shows. Stargate sg-1. Heck. Classic flipper. Lassie. Andy griffith. I lost a couple due to badly scratched disc's but most of them were intact. Took me a while to finish the project!

2
Anachronox 2 points ago +2 / -0

Nicely done! I too have a nice collection of purchased media that I tote around. To be honest, I just think it's cool to have the cases and the artwork that come with them. But lossless DVD rips are so small that you can pack an insane amount of movies on an 8 TB HDD. Hell, you can get about 130 lossless UHD rips on one. Not even sure they have released that many movies in UHD yet.

But nice. I too was an SG-1 fan. Watched it when it was airing on old school sci fi channel. Watched Seaquest too. Bummer on scratches. Can sometimes fix with toothpaste. Also, god forbid it happens, but if your HDD fries and you ever need to rip them again install multiple burn drives. I have 3 and it makes it wayyy faster.

Didn’t Amazon start out selling books? Maybe just used ones? I’m old enough to remember and so old I can’t. Canceled Netflix years ago. Never had Twitter and I’m not using Google on purpose but something tells me I’m using it and not knowing. I don’t use it for a search engine. Anything Is better. Quit facebook over a decade ago. Even took the effort to delete my MySpace instead of abandoning it. People will forever miss my sweet playlists and backgrounds!

How did you manage the MySpace removal? Props

1
Hunter_loves_2_feet 1 point ago +1 / -0

It was a loooong time ago. I can’t recall. When I look myself up I can’t find one image of myself that is me. Even if I include cities. Then I just get trash stuff. BS net worth. Some businesses I used to partly own. Some I didn’t. I have a common name.

2

Sounds Devine

Hunter_loves_2_feet 1 point ago +1 / -0

It has been too long to recall. It was late 09 I think? Maybe earlier MySpace. I had kinda foresaw this cancel culture stuff of looking back at social media. I was probably what we would consider very PC back then. Not now. I had some relatives that were legit racists. Probably still are. I hope they are evolving. I work out out of town. So back in the day you maybe didn’t have Internet access everywhere. Or even mobile phone access. I remember it was summer 09 because I I didn’t know Michael Jackson had died. It was very rural stuff. Nobody thought to check the AM. I now know to do. Every Sunday we had off so we went into town on Saturday night to shop and wash clothes and get Internet. I don’t recall when he died I just know it wasn’t the same day. So most of my social media then was all Michael. Then get down the line and my idiot relatives are saying racist shit. I was always around to control that. Nobody used the unusable word. I have an uncle by marriage thats the most racist fucker I ever knew that hates anyone that isn’t white and yet he’s legit 1/4 native. I’m no blood relation. He married in. He also has a fuck load of kids and became self employed to avoid child support. He appears to be a great guy to anyone watching. I’m Middle Aged now. I remember when he had five kids that averaged my age he avoided supporting. Now he’s a hero because he’s been a house husband before it was cool? I bet you never ask me a question again. I hate questions and love answers. 😎🥸😋🤣. It’s all true. I was messing with you tho. Always good to read. It’s actually true. I wish I better punchline.

2

Crypto was designed to be uncontrollable. It is the digital equivalent buying jewelry so that you still have something valuable even if everything else collapses.

1
Johnkimble111 1 point ago +2 / -1

Not heard that before. I mean Visa and Mastercard have an unbelievable amount of power and already have shown that they love to abuse it (e.g. Gab), so it has to beat using most cards.

doesn't crypto allow you to see exactly how much money someone has at all times?

Those were better times. Everyone shopped locally and talked to each other. Families regularly sat together to watch scheduled programming. People read books and asked each other questions because the answer wasn't available at the touch of a button. Miss those days.

I'm really big with getting back to basics. Here is my tech evolution: I went from a Nokia (yes, that Nokia) in high school to a Blackberry in college, to an iPhone in law school. I always wanted the newest tech. Before I knew it, I was stuck in the web the iPhone created.

The iPhone allowed me to get rid of my GPS, MP3, and Camera. But once you get rid of all those things for "convenience", you never really want to go back. Why? It seems like a downgrade.

So, a few months ago I started to take stock of how much smartphones suck. The amount of time wasted on them, coupled with the privacy nightmare they cause, made me really weigh my options. I laid the phone on the table and said, "How can I kill you?" I then mapped out what I would need to make my phone disposable.

I started slowly. I bought an MP3 player with 64 GB for like $40. It's ridiculously small, fits every single song I have, and plays in my car and in my office. It also has an audio jack (you know, the one Apple is trying to kill) so I can listen anywhere. Bonus points: it runs on a single, removable AA battery. In theory, it is tech that will last forever.

Then, I bought a cheap camera to keep in my car. I figure it will come in handy. I already have a DSLR - but that is for special occasions.

Yesterday, I bought a book of road maps for all the states. I'm weighing a standalone GPS.

I joined Signal - and that is how I prefer to text. I'm trying to convert most of my immediate contacts. I love Signal's flexibility. A PC app is genius, IMO.

So all that is left is to officially kill my iPhone. I'm leaning in the direction of Punkt. It is possibly the dumbest phone on the market.

In short, if you're thinking about taking the leap - the old tech still works, guys. It may not be flashy - but it is usable.

Now is the time to build your classical libraries in some kind of physical medium if you have the means and haven't already.

Even if it's just buying a really big hard drive.

The commies are already purging the arts. Have been for a few years already.

I have tried to teach this, to my daughter for years. I don't use Facebook or Twitter, and haven't in years. I housed MySpace for quite awhile to keep up with other brothers and sisters from the military, and some family in other states. I haven't used the big tech platforms in 3 or 4 years or longer. I do not use google, never used Apple, and have never used Amazon accounts. I did have an Amazon fire stick for a week, on loan when my roku took a shit, but only until I grabbed a new roku. I try not to support that stuff, and prefer to call or text people I wanna speak with. She has done alot better this past year, and as of yesterday...she's fully getting it.

6
NYC_4_Trump 6 points ago +6 / -0

I'm slowly converting the others around me. They aren't interested in the privacy aspects that I crave. So I say "Our time is limited. I want to be present. I want to look you in the eye. That's all that matters in the end."

I actually caught some off guard with that. They slowly put their phone down and got misty eyed.

Youtube is pretty useful TBH, but everything else is completely unnecessary.

4

Google, YouTube, Amazon, etc are all actively against your values and way of life. They want to unperson every single one of us.

I’m guilty, I have YouTube I need to pull all my videos off of. Have Gmail accounts and will be moving them to ProtonMail. It’s a pain but I cannot stomach giving these people more ad revenue when they want me silenced or worse.

Blu ray ripping drive, Redbox, NAS, Plex. If you use these together you don't need Netflix. Blurays are dirt cheap at thrift stores too.

2
NYC_4_Trump 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yep. Buying used physical media to start your own library is the way to go. I'm using Plex. I love the fact that it became a universal system for my entire house - without any of the bull tech companies offer.

4
ProfessorOak 4 points ago +4 / -0

What kind of community groups do y'all go to besides church? When I volunteer, most people aren't really interested in friendships. They're just there to help out. There also seems to be this dichotomy where everyone is either middle-aged or young and liberal. The older people are great, but I'd like to make more friends in my age range.

2
LoobintheToobin 2 points ago +2 / -0

Right?! What could we design to collect true patriots together for the benefit of a real authentic community. Vintage style.

2
MakeMyCoffeeLiberal [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

Great concerns. I agree too many people don't seem to be interested in making new friends at places. I think joining adult sports teams at rec centers or clubs, such as book clubs or any type of hobby, would be good. At volunteer places, the key would be consistently volunteering there over time to build relationships instead of going just once in a while. When people start to see the same person over and over, they're more apt to start up conversations and relationships.

The age divide is interesting too. I think that is another problem with social media. It has divided people into their own silos where they don't interact and receive input from other demographics, so they become stuck in their own bubbles. The young need to hear from older people in order to gain wisdom and the old need to be around the young to feel alive.

4
alxram 4 points ago +4 / -0

This. These tech giants don't realize how quickly innovative new technologies will rise to take their place. Their arrogance will be their downfall.

1
MakeMyCoffeeLiberal [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yes, do that too. Give to those in your local community. The impact from assisting a local person will improve a life 100 times more than giving a few bucks to some national charity that probably doesn't share your values.

I watched a movie from 1995 last night. No one had a cellphone. In the movie, it starts to rain. Instead of everyone immediately fleeing to their vehicles, it turns into some good wholesome fun. Everyone plays in the rain.

Nearly brought a tear to my eye, the comparison to the modern world. When was the last time you saw a group of people enjoying the rain? We're all so neurotically hooked to our little tech devices now no one has a moment to stop and enjoy things.
