Get rid of all your accounts. Shop only at local small businesses. Get rid of this poison in your life. Meet people in person. Join community groups and church/synagogue groups.

Yes. This was thing on Friday’s or if there was a really good movie out we’d go first thing Friday morning. If it was a really really good movie us kids would be directed to man the returns station to see if someone had dropped it off while in store.

My parents would get a few movies and us kids would get one video game. Rotated between us. My siblings hated me. They’d pick shit like donkey Kong and Zelda. Me? I had some kick about game shows and word games. It was a great experience in learning bartering. I’d trade my game week for chores.

Ahhh, you were quite the enterprising youngster. Remember VHS reminders? It was a luxury when rewindable VCRs came out, but I miss them too.
