It was simpler to bitch about Blockbuster's late fees than Netflix openly promoting pedophilia with Cuties.
I kind of miss when going to the video store and picking out a movie was in itself an event. Every Friday we would go and get a movie or two, hoping to snag a new release. We’d wander around looking at choices, picking some candy...video stores were fun. I miss them. My whole family would rent one movie and we’d all watch together. Now, usually I am on my device and everyone in our family is watching their own thing...kind of sad, really.
Sometimes, we think things evolve for the better, but maybe not.
Big Tech is the one who pushed the anti- social do everything online. Online is great for many things but personal, human interaction is what is really needed.
