It has been too long to recall. It was late 09 I think? Maybe earlier MySpace. I had kinda foresaw this cancel culture stuff of looking back at social media. I was probably what we would consider very PC back then. Not now. I had some relatives that were legit racists. Probably still are. I hope they are evolving. I work out out of town. So back in the day you maybe didn’t have Internet access everywhere. Or even mobile phone access. I remember it was summer 09 because I I didn’t know Michael Jackson had died. It was very rural stuff. Nobody thought to check the AM. I now know to do. Every Sunday we had off so we went into town on Saturday night to shop and wash clothes and get Internet. I don’t recall when he died I just know it wasn’t the same day. So most of my social media then was all Michael. Then get down the line and my idiot relatives are saying racist shit. I was always around to control that. Nobody used the unusable word. I have an uncle by marriage thats the most racist fucker I ever knew that hates anyone that isn’t white and yet he’s legit 1/4 native. I’m no blood relation. He married in. He also has a fuck load of kids and became self employed to avoid child support. He appears to be a great guy to anyone watching. I’m Middle Aged now. I remember when he had five kids that averaged my age he avoided supporting. Now he’s a hero because he’s been a house husband before it was cool? I bet you never ask me a question again.
