People are looking for alternative apps to stay informed. I recommended one.
More importantly, people don't have to install shit on their phones. I recommend that they don't, unless they have a non-Apple/non-Google phone.

ive checked it, none of the development companies involved in creating signal are subsidiaries of twitter, one has a similar name to open whisper systems, whisper systems .inc, different companies tho, open whisper system is open source, the latter isn't. Also Signal Tech foundation is apparently a non profit company.
