They are all over the place and many of them are repeating the same joke.
Parler is being Thanos’d by a level of coordination that hasn’t been scene since Alex Jones was simultaneously banned from Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Reddit. Italy gate has become a thing where someone has testified that they have the true records of the vote totals. The president of Mexico has expressed support for Trump and has proposed banning American and Chinese social media because they have grown too powerful. Mozilla is calling for more than just deplatforming of right wing politics, Nancy Pelosi and many other politicians are calling for the President to resign or be forcefully removed. No one knows what the hell Trump is up to at the moment.
Then we have the fucking Breaking: Trump Banned from [insert obtuse form of communication.] jokes.
It’s forum sliding disguised as memeing, don’t fall for it.
What is forum sliding?
It’s when something important is posted and, in order to hide it, shills bury it in other [unrelated] posts.
I still don’t understand.
When something important reaches a board, like this one, shills flood the board with posts to make the important post “slide down” and out of view. This makes it harder for people to discover the post and thus “bury” it. The entire point of the tactic is to prevent important information from being spread on a board like this.
Ahh ok, got it.
I think there’s a more intuitive name for this concept out there, forum sliding is too ambiguous a title.
