sorry, Boomer here. How do you "text" TO something like (freedom to 98078) on an android? Can anyone explain how to do this? Like step by step lol, thanks

tap "messages"

its a red or yellow app. once you launch it if it asks for recipient then skip to step 5, otherwise continue

lower right hand side there's an orange round button that has a pencil on it

upper right theres a [compose] button.

for recipient type in the # (you may have to toggle the keyboard between alphabet and numeral mode to get numbers. The button that does this looks like [123] and [abc])

then tap on the "enter message" section near the bottom" and enter the text

after # and text is in, tap [send] lower right

The 'phone number' will simply be 98078 and the message will be FREEDOM (all caps, no quotations). Go to your text messages and select new conversation or what-not to get it going.

FYI you can now save the contact (that number) as Devin's name or whatever you want so when you receive msgs it's not some random looking number. It can be annoying.
