Google, Apple, and Amazon have shown everyone they're going to censor speech they don't approve of.
So who still wants to have a 'smart home' where all of your major appliances are connected to the internet and controlled by the department of truth?

If the ministry of truth has a problem with something I say, I want them to have to come talk to me about it in person just like the old days.

All kidding aside, there is way too much surveillance tech in all our stuff, cell phones being the number one culprit but TVs, remotes, Alexas etc etc etc are all bad too.
