I understand back-end infrastructure takes a long time to build up, I understand that content and users also takes a long time.

But there is no excuse for how piss poor the branding and "Look" of all of these sites are.

A few grand and a few days of putting the sites in the hand of some talented designers and illustrators would make these sites many times more appealing to end users.

Are they even trying to get new users? Each and every one of these sites looks like something thrown together by a first year web dev for a rushed project. The color schemes, the logos, the buttons, the fonts. They're all piss poor.

Its hard to find really good conservative/right leaning artists and designers. Thats lefty-brain territory, just the way it is. Its a shame were so politically divided that we cant work together.

Look at the memes here.

There are a lot of talented people here. . Just because someone has a very active left brain does not mean they are politically left.

It's really not. If you gave anyone on this site 500 bucks, send them into a site that handles art commissions, you could get in contact with a great artist who could revamp any of these sites in a day.

These sites aren't art heavy, they have 1 big logo, a few standardized buttons, and a color scheme, it is INCREDIBLY simple to redesign and bizarre the quality is so mediocre considering the investment in the back end.

Shout out to this site, the buttons, the colors, everything is super clean, simple and sharp. Not fancier than it needs to be. Nothing clunky or out of place.

I agree about the others, but honestly I kind of like the look of gab

I got to agree. I do some webdev and the first time I saw Bitchute I felt like it would just be a matter of hours for a solo dev to make it seriously more appealing.

My biggest problem is how clunky most of them are in terms of finding the content you want.

What's wrong with Gab? It's easy on the eye and better navigation than Twatter. And maybe that isn't their priority - I prefer they spend time on security and building platforms that can't be taken away.

Gab's pretty good. Little lacking on branding though, the color scheme and logo are a bit forgettable.

Nothing on the screen has any production value, like a nice logo. Nothing is uniquely nice on gab, it's a solid blank, functional slate.

I think the influx of people actually did take them by surprise. They probably have very small teams who can only do a little bit at a time. Big Tech had billion coming in the back door from donors to attract everyone and then censor them when the time was right.

They have no funds for GUI optimization. That being said, FB is still an eyesore these many years later.

It wouldn't take a lot of $$$ to GREATLY improve the quality and appeal of the site.

I'm not saying you were inaccurate, but just am of the opinion that you might consider adding boring as possible to the list you have there.

Well we know the answer to that... all the action is on the mega platform of Youtube.

I enjoy the unique Styx content on bitchute.

And Dan Bongino on Rumble.

Consistent quality content is hard to build up. A quick revamp to buttons, texts, logos and such is dirt simple.

What I really like is how they used us to build the platform up then tossed us aside to have Dan Rather on. As if that entire control matrix was not tossed aside by the year 2000.

Generally coders aren't really about the appearance of the UI. They're good at the inner workings but need outside talent to "spruce up" and polish the interface. It will come once the popularity of the app or site increases.

To further add: in my personal experience, I used to run a bbs back in the old days. I sucked at layout and graphic design. But the site worked better than other boards around here - eventually people who were good at layout and graphics were like "I like what you're doing - let me help" and that's when things really took off.

I just did.

Advice: Get a competent designer to help. Specifically with colors, icons, and buttons and logos.

“Let’s not use them!”

It may be a first-layer filtering...

If you are the Leftwaffe and have all your comma, why would you want to use a “shitty platform” like that?

If it is all you got, you use what you got.
