In all fairness, as far as statistics are concerned you can't get much more representative than this. At a certain number of distribution and participation total population counts are essentially moot in deciding the accuracy for a survey; there is basically no difference in how predictive a 5000 man survey is of a population of 100000 people and one of 10 million
