Hard to believe people like that still call themselves "conservative"

Bachelor of SCIENCE in NURSING? Ha.

That's even funnier than a Bachelor of Science in Economics.

Besides, I get to help people on a daily basis and I enjoy that. I suffer from daily pain, and it's mentally rewarding when I can use my experiences and knowledge to help someone else suffering from chronic pain. Lots of people, especially older people, suffer in silence and just don't have the advocacy or info they need to get better.

So while it may not be a super impressive degree, I don't regret it.

I'm not trying to diminish it, I just find the classifications funny.

I appreciate all the work that you do.

Yea it's a weird classification. The word nursing in general generates the image of women in white outfits just passing pills, and then there's all the sexy nurse outfits and the stupid tik Tok nurses. It's a normal thought to bash on it lol.

Nurses know about the human body, but other sciencey stuff eh not so much.

The one thing that does tick me off is when old people assume I must be gay since I'm a male nurse. Ironically I get special treatment for being a male and when I wasn't married, I was surrounded by tons of single chicks.... It's a job though, ups and downs, good and bad days. The 12 hours are a bit rough on me tho.

I'm glad you found something you love doing despite hardships. Especially something that's worth so much.

I suggest you look into "dollar-cost-averaged" investing into index fund ETFs and stocks. Dedicate a portion of every single paycheck to this and you will have a great retirement.

Try to shoot for $200 a month if you're 30 and want to be set for a golden retirement or leave a lot to your family. But the more the better.

$2000 a month for 10~20 years would get you into the millions but obviously isn't doable for most people.

It was a tough program, but I passed my nclex in the minimum 75 questions on the first try. If you didn't score x amount on a test between junior and senior year they just kicked you out.

Maybe I'm just retarded, but in what way does it qualify as "science"?

I know for certain that Economics doesn't cut it, having dropped out of a BSc Economics track in favour of Mathematics.

You've got to know all about the human body and pharmacology. Lots of A&P, Pathophysiology, chemistry, microbiology, etc

In that case I take my initial remark back. Didn't expect it to be so detailed.

Economics LARPs as science but has precisely zero science in it. Unless you count running numbers into statistical tools that the students aren't capable of fully understanding due to lack of teaching and experience.

The normies in the GOP that dont like us is probably about 10%. Unfortunately, 95% of fed level elected GOP don't like us. This is our party now. And we are just going to have to vote out all the rhinos on every level of government and vote in America First Republicans. It wont be easy but it can and must be done. In a peaceful manner. We start local and work our way up. Every level of government.
