AWS (and cloud computing in general) has killed millions of good paying jobs and careers for the American working class.
A blue collar kid could go to a tech school for 6-12 months for short money, instead of 4 year college, and get a decent paying job as a network admin at the local insurance company or hospital, and make it a career.
Now with cloud computing these entry level jobs have been eliminated mostly. Yes you need some to spin up server instances and whatnot and act as the admin but much of the responsibility is with amazon and it’s cheap foreign labor force.
